Back from Europe

Click on the link below to see photos of our adventures in France and Switzerland at the beginning of September. You can browse the thumbnails, or for the full effect choose "Slideshow" and be sure to click on "Show Info" to enable captions. It's quite a long set, but we sure enjoyed making it!

Back from a Lake Chelan Wedding

We just arrived back from a fun weekend on the shore of Lake Chelan in Central Washington. Steve's high school friend Britton Boyd got married in her mom's apple orchard there, and we spent the weekend camping in their orchard, enjoying the lake and dancing the night away with friends. Pictures online at our flickr site; click the link to the right.

Before there was Jaye...

Jaye's relatives, Steve and Cecilia Storms, have posted a collection of old photos depicting Jaye's Grandfather, Great Grandfather and "Great Aunt" (?). Check them out by clicking here.

New Home

We've just completed the move to our new home! Check out photos of the property on our flickr site. The outside is going to require a lot of work, so check back all summer for before-and-after photos of our projects. E-mail either one of us if you need our new address; our phone numbers and e-mail have remained unchanged.

Running and Moving

Things are busy in the Hopkins house these days; our time seems to be split between work, running, and preparing to move into our new house a few miles away. The house will require a lot of work because the exterior is a real "fixer-upper"; the running will require a lot of working because we're traveling to Europe in September to run the Medoc Marathon in Bordeaux, France.

Today we both ran the Windermere Half-marathon here in Spokane; Steve ran a very fast PR, while Jaye was able to claim the title of "6th female finisher". It was a great race... won't you join us next year?

Enjoy Sundance from Afar

Our good friend Walt is blogging from the Sundance Film Festival. This is his third year documenting the festival, and his posts are a fun way to get a preview of the year's upcoming indie flicks. Enjoy his blog here.

We're getting loopy in Spokane...

With the snow still falling here, it's understandable that some of the folks in Spokane are getting a little crazy. Still, you would've think that SOMEONE in the editing booth would've caught this major blunder on the evening news! Thanks to our DVR we were able to take a photo and upload it for all prosperity. (I hope you get a laugh out of it, even if it is a little crude...)
